The phrase “Beware the Ides of March!” Of Shakespeare’s plays, has long been a cruise. It is in the so-called “Ides of March” (Ides – the day mid-month in the ancient Roman calendar) was killed on the eve of the Senate, the conspirators, Julius Caesar. The film is, as already mentioned, is based on the play, which in turn is based on the scandal around the primaries of the Democratic Party in 2004, when details of the personal life of one of the applicants were known to the general public.

Clooney as a director is very good at working with actors, not with newcomers and with experienced and well known. Home luck movie – this is definitely Ryan Gosling and his hero. Very well-coded image of the hero Gosling, who from the idealistic campaign staff worker, turns into a real “shark policy,” deserves major praise. Gosling in general has recently become a very productive actor, starring in several films, and each of them, it’s his role and the characters were the main rod movies. A Gosling plays just fine, even if he wanted only to change facial expressions and not to utter remarks. This is such a charismatic actor, just that his appearance on the screen can decorate any film. If you add the inherent talent of the actor, it’s just double the fun.
But of course, not a single Gosling “live” the movie. Great role played in it Evan Rachel Wood, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Paul Giamatti and himself, George Clooney.
Given that the film is about politics, the film is dialogue, not action, so the film’s target audience is clearly narrowed and not everyone can get involved in political intrigue behind the scenes. But overall the film is able to and can keep the viewer in suspense.
